Pavlova

Pavlova picture

I made this Australian dessert with the help of a Nintendo DS cooking game. Somebody stop me from finishing the entire plate. There’s a cup of sugar in this thing.

Update 9/29/10 Hi readers. Here’s the recipe for Pavlova for 4.

Make a meringe with 4 egg whites and 1/4 c. confectioner’s sugar, 2 tsp. lemon juice and dash of vanilla extract. Fold in 1 tbsp. cornstarch. Pour onto parchment paper and shape into a cake. Bake low and slow–255°F for 1 1/2 hrs. Set aside.

Whip up 1 1/4 c. cream and 3/4 c. confectioner’s sugar. Pour onto cooled meringue and top with sliced kiwi, strawberries and blueberries. Enjoy!

I’ve always wanted to cut kiwi lengthwise. I felt so rebellious. Ahahhah

    ive made merenge at work and will u believe it took 6 firggin hours!!!! the temperature was very low at 50ºC but they turned out pretty good! :)
    btw is there any diet recipè in that game? i havent checked! :P
